General questions

Who is R.H.I.?

R.H.I. Reservation Hotels Italy is a family-run incoming tour operator based in Rome, at Via dei Prati Fiscali 201. We started in 1985 and plan group travel across the whole of Italy.

What do you organise?

Four lines of group travel: group tours, pilgrimages, experiences, and meetings and incentives. Every programme is tailor-made, from a two-night city break to a tour of fifteen to eighteen nights the length of Italy.

Who do you work with?

We work exclusively with B2B clients: tour operators, travel agencies, wholesalers and DMCs around the world, and companies for their meetings and incentives. Parishes, schools, associations and other organised groups travel with us through the tour operators and agencies we work with. Our services are not available for direct bookings by private individuals.

Which parts of Italy do you cover?

The whole country. Our sample programmes include Rome, Venice and the Brenta River, the Cinque Terre, Tuscany, the Northern Lakes, Bergamo and the Alps, Milan and Turin, Genoa, Viterbo and the Tuscia, Apulia and Basilicata, and Sicily, and our pilgrimages extend to Medjugorje and Malta.

Are your itineraries fixed?

No. Every programme is tailor-made. The sample programmes on each page are starting points: choose one and the request form is filled in for you, then we adapt the route, length and inclusions to your group.

What do you confirm in writing before a group travels?

Timing, inclusions, guide language and cancellation terms. We put them in writing before you arrive, so nothing depends on a verbal promise.

How quickly do you reply to a request?

Within the day, Italian time. Write to us through the request form or at incoming@rhigroup.it, or call +39 06 8620 0036.

Where can we meet you in person?

At the travel trade fairs where we exhibit, including TTG Rimini, WTM London, ITTF Warsaw, FITUR Madrid and IFT Belgrade. Dates, venues and, where assigned, stand numbers are on our Meet us page, where you can book a table with our incoming team.

Group Tours

How long can a group tour of Italy be?

From a two-night city break to a fifteen- to eighteen-night tour of the whole country, and any length in between.

Can a group tour combine several regions?

Yes. Several sample programmes already combine places, such as Apulia and Basilicata or Milan and Turin, and we adapt any route to your group's dates.

Experiences

What kinds of experiences do you arrange?

Food and wine, crafts and local culture, nature and the outdoors, unusual guided tours and evening events, all arranged for groups.

Where do the food and wine experiences take place?

Examples include a cooking class in Montalcino, cheese making in Pienza, tastings in historic vineyards from Chianti to Primitivo, a grappa tour and truffle hunting.

Do you arrange evening events?

Yes: a classical concert or open-air rock, a Renaissance costume dinner, opera in a landmark theatre and a firework show.

Pilgrimages

Which pilgrimage destinations do you cover?

Rome, Assisi, Padua, Manoppello, the abbeys around Rome and the places linked to St Padre Pio, along Franciscan and Benedictine routes. We also combine Italy with Medjugorje, and with Malta in the footsteps of St Paul.

Can a pilgrimage include art and history?

Yes. Many of the sites are abbeys, monasteries and convents with important frescoes, so the visits cover faith and art together.

Meetings & Incentives

What does an incentive programme with you include?

Everything from planning, transport and accommodation to gala evenings, entertainment, staging, games, gifts and graphics, managed from concept to delivery.

Can you book venues that are not open to the public?

Yes. Some of the villas, castles and historic places we use for incentives and events are closed to the public.

Which team activities can you add?

Options include a go-kart grand prix, a team bike race, white-water rafting and a hot-air balloon ride.
